My teaching programs consist of tracks for the advanced harpist who wants to maintain direction in their playing, the experienced harpist who suffers from pain & wishes to develop a relaxed technical style, the busy harpist who desires to ‘finish up’ those pieces they had to leave behind many years ago, and the dreamer harpist who feels called to pursue larger artistic projects. I also work with younger students who are focused & driven to pursue the harp through my online programs & the Nebraska Harp Workshop.

In 2020 I hosted a Navy Band Harp Audition Workshop preparing harpists for the Navy Band Audition and it was a great success! We dove into the excerpts for the first round of the audition but also talked about tips for successful audition & performance preparation. In my private teaching, I give the opportunity for harpists to do an intensive online study program where we dive into the thick of playing & performing, elevating your regular routine to one where focus & success are part of your normal day-to-day. Working in a 1-on-1 format, our interactions will not only cover the physical aspects of playing of the harp, color exploration & performance skills, but also mental training, physical well-being, goal-setting & finding creative outlets to balance that schedule of ambition & drive. During the academic year and for those looking for training at the collegiate level, I teach at Point Loma Nazarene University, located on a beautiful campus in San Diego, CA overlooking the Pacific Ocean. A number of undergraduate degrees are offered including harp performance, music education, composition, or recording, with scholarship opportunities available. A minor in harp is also offered for undergraduate students. Email me for more information.
